Member Value Task Force Charter:
Purpose/Aim:  To identify changes and ideas, that, when implemented, will lead to increased membership, member participation and member value in Section 1001.  The success of these changes and ideas will be measured by the number of members in Section 1001, and to the degree possible, the amount of member participation in Section 1001 activities.  The Task Force is encouraged to conduct research, as needed, using both ASQ National resources and/or primary research among Section 1001 membership.

We are trying to reverse a declining ASQ membership trend by providing increased member value.  The Taskforce goals are to generate ideas (short and longer-term) that would:
  • Increase member value for the section members.
  • Generate new members for the section.
  • Increase attendance to section’s monthly events.
The Member Value Taskforce meets approximately once-per-month from September to April.

Finalized Member Value Taskforce Goals are presented to the Section Leadership Committee every April for consideration for Implementation.  Participation on this Taskforce earns recertification units for those who need them.
